Band Bios

Randy Ladd (Lead Vocals)
Randy grew-up listening to rock bands from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s including bands like Skynerd, Hagar, Sublime, STP and Pearl Jam.  “I’ve been very lucky to be able to play with some great musicians over the past 10 years.  The current line-up is no exception, this is the strongest band, musically that I have ever been part of.”  Randy has been in several Northeast Ohio bands including Broadcast, Blind Fish, Lock 4 and now Wounded Hand.  Playing in front of a big crowd is what it is all about for me.  Playing for people who know your music and respond to what you are playing is the reason I am doing this.

Greg Reed (Lead Guitar)
Greg's influences began with the 70's rock with Kiss, Rush and Black Sabbath.  His guitar influences were of Van Halen, Iron Maiden, and Creed.  Greg began his first band with the 80's cover band "Deceiver" from Akron.  After a short time off he began playing with "Blindfish" a 90's alternative band.   Greg now plays lead guitar for one of the best cover bands in Northeast Ohio with Lock 4.  Greg has always been a huge fan of Stone Temple Pilots, so when Lock 4 found an alter ego with Wounded Hand ( A Tribute to Stone Temple Pilots), it was a no-brainer. Greg enjoys the peace and quiet of Canal Fulton with his wife Maureen, daughter Alyssa, and son Nathan.  Greg loves the challenge of finding that perfect sound.

D Scott (Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Back-up Vocals)
Playing, writing, and recording music has been a passion for this self-taught guitar player for many years.  He is a veteran on the stage and loves to share the experience with his friends and band mates. He has played in many cover bands, beach party bands, rock bands and has done a solo acoustic act. Getting started around campus at Ohio State University as part of the Scream-A-Long with Jimmy Lee and D duo he developed a taste for entertaining and hasn't stopped. "My influences range from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Stevie Wonder, and from Funk to Punk! I love the blues but any soulful music with a groove can hook me." he stated in a recent interview.  He adds rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar and back up vocals to Wounded Hand's line up.

Harry Ostopowicz (Drums)
Harry always knew being a drummer was going to have a huge in pact in his life.  He was taught by his Dad at the age of 6 on the kit that his Grandfather gave his Father back in 60's.  His 1st band was in high school called Look Right, where he played along side the current Lock4 bassist Jeff Beck.  They won the North High School talent show in 1998. While playing in many bands throughout his career, he has enjoyed playing at venues in Cleveland, Detroit and Erie, Pa. Growing up in the late 80's, his favorite bands include,  Metallica, Pearl Jam and STP. They have been a huge influence in his musical career. Playing with Wounded Hand (a Tribute to Stone Temple Pilots) is one of his most exciting and successful accomplishments. Harry is married to his high school sweetheart Erika. They have a son Zak and an infant daughter Kendal. Zak has been playing his own drum set since he was 3, and loves practicing along side his Dad.

Jeff Beck (Bass Guitar)
Jeff grew up in the late 80’s early 90’s when rock music was at the top of the charts.  Influenced by great bands like STP, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam he fell in love with music and playing in bands.  He has played in several great area bands such as Motherload, Elijah Black, and Run Thomas Run to name a few.  He is a fan of all great music, and lives to play on stage.  “I’ve been on TV, played live on the radio, played all over the country and I live for it.”  He plays bass guitar and sings back-up for Wounded Hand.
